WHERE DO YOU PRACTICE?

In 2007 Yoga was introduced to me and we hit it off right away! The movement and the breath along with the spiritual connection, music and a wonderful community had me hooked. Courses and trainings followed as the different lineages of yoga opened up to me.

I was lucky to get to practice in person with, and receive my Yin Yoga Teacher Training with Bernie Clark and Diana Batts in B.C. There have been many mentors on my yoga journey and I would like to pay homage to them here; Thomas Haller, Brock Wilson, Tracy Ng, Shelley Gower, Deborah Bouttell, Kristin Ames, Eddee Huang, Hali Schwartz, Bernie Clark, Diana Batts, Kathryn Beets & Jim Pope thank you! After working at a few studios around the GTA and developing my voice in this practice I have landed softly at Burlington Physiotherapy and Health Clinic, located in Downtown Burlington. I love this space, come see me here for a yoga class.

Lotus Love Yoga began in 2016. It has been a natural transition, starting with teaching at local yoga studios, then offering videos on ‘YouTube’ during the pandemic, growing with workshop offerings and now retreats. This name represents how I feel in life, sometimes we feel like we are moving through the mud, but be patient, keep moving forward and something beautiful will evolve or bloom, much like the lotus.

Anything to do with movement and being outside connect with me. I hope to share this with you. And watch for upcoming retreats, where we get to weave both passions together, yoga & the outdoors.
